Hey friends!

I had a couple of lovely Sthlm shows at Noels and at Klubb Springfield. Thank you all for your support! I will be back with the whole Grace band in the fall if not earlier. Our show at Fotografiska on August 31st has been rescheduled for October 12th. Sorry for any inconvenience!

We have been working hard on the new album with The Grace and we will start mixing it soon. The album has been recorded in several studios in Stockholm, Turku and Vaasa and we're excited about releasing it in the fall of 2013. It's a cool mixture of Americana, Classic Rock and modern Blues and I'm sure you all will love it :-)

Me and Oskar played some of the new songs in Stockholm. Here's a video from Noels featuring the new tune called Sleeping With Trouble and our live favorite Prohibition Blues...

Stockholm Shows

 Hola amigos!

I will be playing two acoustic shows in Stockholm in March with my buddy & Grace guitarist/producer Oskar Nyman. The first one is on March 6th at Noel's and the second show is on March 15th at Klubb Springfield at Pet Sounds Bar källare. We might debut some new songs from the upcoming album with The Grace so I suggest y'all come out to the shows!

Good People Listen to Records Club Night in Vaasa!

 GPLTR Presents Smokesuit Live @ Leipätehdas 2.2.2013

Good People Listen to Records is proud to present the first ever GPLTR Club Night @ Leipätehdas in Vaasa on February 2nd. Our friends, alternative rockers Smokesuit from Seinäjoki will perform live on stage! The band is known for putting on an energetic live show with a raw and grungy vibe. Smokesuit is also set to perform at the MARS event in Senäjoki and a new album is in the works.

JL & The Grace will continue recording the new album next week in Turku. The yet to be titled album is planned to be released in late August. We can't wait to share these new and wonderful tunes with you all!

Jerry's friend & photographer Lukas Renlund posted a story on his facebook.com/Lukas.Renlund.Photographer page about  how our photo shoot for the single design went down in Copenhagen. It was a pretty accurate account of what happened so I also want to share his story with you..

"Not too long ago I had the fine pleasure of welcoming my childhood friend Jerry Lindqvist to Copenhagen for a weekend-long photo shoot. Jerry needed some pics for his upcoming album and X-mas single.

I had chosen the vintage lighting fixtures store Hot Kotyr in Nørrebro as our location. Little did I know, the manager would turn out to be Copenhagen's grumpiest (gentle)man. He simply hated the idea of having us walking around his store taking photos. Bad experiences from similar requests in the past seemed to be the reason of his discomfort. Then finally - with a little patchy small-talk, a few conditions agreed and some good old fashioned bribery (24 cans of beer) he agreed to let us use the place for one hour and "not a minute longer".

It went great! We got all the shots we needed, and more. Here is one of the photographs we made that day. It is the cover of Jerry's next single, Every Day is Like a Holiday.

The song is actually about the loss of a family member and how the Holiday season can be a hard time for anyone who is alone or has recently lost a close one.

With all that said, I hope you'll enjoy the fruits of our collaboration. So long!"
